Jessica & Sean’s Peachtree City Wedding!

Hello-hello all! Hope you’re reading this post as you get ready to have a fun weekend! Last month I had the great privilege of photographing a beautiful couple– Sean & Jessica! Their beautiful ceremony with dramatic purple uplighting was held at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church, and the reception was in the big open space of the Peachtree City Falcon Field Hangar. Being an Air Force brat myself, I really enjoyed photographing the planes, and the retired Air Force guys that run the place were SOOO hospitable! Jessica & David’s Spring wedding at Alvaton!

It was another pristine Georgia day in April when Jessica and David wed. Their ceremony was under the outdoor gazebo at the Banquet Hall of Alvaton, where you’ll see a ton of beautiful pictures, and then the reception was indoors in the grand hall. Jessie’s dress by J Andrew’s Bridal was a lovely strapless gown with embellishments that were so eye-catching-ly perfect! They also had the CUTEST toasting glasses– check them out! If you haven’t been to this venue yet, it is the perfect place for a large reception, and all the vendors are so great with which to work! Congrats to the love birds, and I hope you all enjoy the preview of pictures! ~Chey

Nicky & Brandon are married!!

So these two Vegas love birds flew back to Peachtree City, GA at the end of March to wed near their families. The ceremony at Holy Trinity Catholic church was breathtaking! I always love shooting in the large Catholic churches with all the ornate surroundings as a beautiful backdrop! The family has an affinity for mustangs, as you will see, so we were able to get some really cute shots with their beloved cars, too! The reception at the Wyndham in Peachtree City was beautiful as well, and we were able to go down the street to take some portraits with all the trees in perfect full bloom! Brandon & Nicky also had the cutest first dance where the groom dipped the bride, and then the bride dipped the groom…lol! It was no boring dance! There was so much love and laughter at this wedding!

The Big Event Team, Wedding Photography at Vinewood

As one of the photographers for The Big Event team, it was really nice to be part of the gorgeous event we held at the historical site of Vinewood this past Fall. Located within Newnan, this outdoor ceremony setting with barn reception is perfect for brides looking for a rustic-chic venue. Having grown up on a horse farm myself, I would’ve LOVED for this to be an option for my own wedding!

The theme for our show on this beautiful Sunday afternoon was Firefly… so we had several whimsical details, and you’ll see a stunning silver and yellow color palette.

Special thanks to J Andrews Bridal salon for the beautiful attire, and Corrie Kirk with Signature Events for the wonderful planning & coordination behind the whole event! Ian Somerhalder Foundation, Empoweresque Celebrity Charity Event

The Ian Somerhalder Foundation held a charity event at the Opera nightclub in Atlanta for Halloween, and guess who was asked to photograph it?!

The theme for the event was burlesque, but it was Halloween night, so you’ll see a range of costumes, especially from The Vampire Diaries cast members: Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Kat Graham, Candice Accola, & Zach Roerig.

I was so excited to photograph for the IS Foundation, especially with my new friends and fellow photographers Renee Scott & Andrew Brooks! Enjoy the images!

Robert & Crystal Lancaster’s Wedding at Che’ne Rouge!

Time to post some images from yet another beautiful Fall wedding! This one was a ceremony & reception at the gorgeous Che’ne Rouge in Hiram, Georgia. When I saw the place, all I could say was, “Wow!” It is absolutely perfect for couples wanting a mix between rustic and elegant! It features an entrance through a red barn into a courtyard ceremony, with an indoor reception. It was a perfect day, filled with lots of emotions. Robert’s father is currently fighting liver cancer– so please pray for him and the family! I’m so happy to have been able to capture this tremendous occasion for this lovely couple.

Paula & Brandt are married!

I had the wonderful honor of photographing an old friend’s wedding at Washington Park in Macon, Georgia’s beautiful Fall weather. Dressed in a gorgeous A-line gown, Paula walked down the aisle to meet her fun-loving groom Brandt. Though they saw each other for portraits before the ceremony, he had the best look on his face when he saw her for the first time walking down the aisle! The Armory Ballroom was dazzling with several bright flower arrangements for the reception. They had tiers of very delicious cupcakes for the bride’s cake, and a good looking Georgia Southern groom’s cake. Below are some of my favorite shots from the night– so hard to narrow them down to this many! Enjoy!

The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain Wedding Photographer

I had the great pleasure of teaming up with the Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens to photograph a beautifully decorated setup for their future marketing pieces. The staff was amongst the friendliest folks I have ever worked with, and they really know how to take care of their guests! Your Host Rentals in Fayetteville and Details of the Gardens in Pine Mountain also played a huge part in the setup. Definitely look into having your future event here!

We had the opportunity to shoot another beautiful outdoor wedding, located at the Wendell Coffee Golf & Event Center. I loved Rebecca’s one-shoulder dress and the bright colors she incorporated into the wedding! It was a hot day, but the clouds rolled in to provide a little shade right as the ceremony started… it was perfect! My favorite part of the day was hearing Eric say he couldn’t believe that beautiful bride was his. Sooo sweet! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day. Can’t wait for them to see the rest!

Dominican Wedding, Trash the Dress

Finally back from a ton of recent travelling, I was able to sit down and work on something fun! My brother-in-law Jason and his fiancee Stephani were recently married in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. It rained every afternoon we were there, and the forecast called for the worst thunderstorms of the week during their wedding… but amazingly enough it turned out to be a rain-free gorgeous day! I got to relax and just enjoy this wonderful event (woohoo!) as a bridesmaid, but I did help shoot their trash the dress session. What a GREAT place to get a little dirty!

Congratulations to the gorgeous couple! I’m happy to have another Mrs. Holbrook & sister in the family!
